These novel compositions provide for enhanced delivery of protein therapeutics. Proteins (e.g. recombinant Factor VIII) associated with LIPRO-FORM exhibited improved pharmacokinetic profiles and higher efficacies in animal models. With characteristics such as lowered immunogenicity and increased circulation time, LIPRO-FORM provides significant potential advantages including a reduction in the frequency of administration, an abatement of inhibitor development and an extension of patent life.
