to Highlight Research Innovations

Collaboration will Allow Universities, Research Institutions
to Link their Innovations Directly to the iBridge Network

KANSAS CITY, Mo., February 1 — The iBridgeSM Network, a program of the not-for-profit Kauffman Innovation Network, Inc., today announced a collaboration with Knowledge Sharing Systems (KSS) to interface KSS TechTracS® to the iBridge online community, enabling universities and research institutions to better highlight their intellectual property portfolios. iBridge Network members who use KSS TechTracS can now seamlessly share their research and innovations with the iBridge Network community with the click of a button.

"Our collaboration with KSS is another step toward making it as easy as possible for universities and researchers to highlight their innovations on the iBridge Network," said Lesa Mitchell, director of the iBridge Network. "Our current and future members who utilize KSS TechTracS® will find the process of uploading innovations completely seamless and intuitive."

KSS TechTracS® is a commercial off-the-shelf innovation management system that enables an organization to manage its entire innovation supply chain including research project management, technology and intellectual property management, and agreement management. Technologies submitted from KSS's customers can now be found on the iBridge Network's web site, www.iBridgeNetwork.com.

"We're very excited to work with the iBridge Network and we expect this complementary relationship to greatly benefit our clients who face the challenge of effectively showcasing their cutting edge innovations," stated Kevin Barquinero, CEO of Knowledge Sharing Systems, www.knowledgesharing.com.

This collaboration between the iBridge Network and KSS was funded by the Detroit-based business incubator and research technology park Tech Town. The University of Michigan will be the first school to upload its innovations to the Network via the KSS interface.

Universities and non-profits use the iBridge Web site to distribute and license a variety of items, including software, research tools, databases, teaching materials, surveys, reference materials and patent-protected technologies.
