The iBridgeSM Network to Present at TechTown-Sponsored Event Focused on Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Session to Highlight History of Innovation, Best Practices for Young Entrepreneurs
KANSAS CITY, Mo., June. 22 /PRNewswire—The iBridge(SM) Network, a program of the not-for-profit Kauffman Innovation Network, Inc., announced today that it will be presenting at the "FastTrac to the Future: The First Day of Your Entrepreneurial Adventure" event on June 24th on the campus of Wayne State University in Detroit. The iBridge presentation will focus on helping those interested in entrepreneurship better understand the intricacies of the innovation process, the players, best practices for identifying resources and collaboration partners, and what is needed to transform today's ideas and discoveries into tomorrow's research, products and services.
FastTrac to the Future is a program created by the New Economy Initiative and the Kauffman Foundation to provide a jump-start to entrepreneurship through mentoring, training and resources. The FastTrac program is a part of the larger TechTown initiative in Detroit, aimed at creating jobs and building centers of excellence in state-targeted industries such as life sciences, alternative energy and advanced engineering.
