The procedures represent a new process in predicitng, analyzing, and strategizing for combat of species invasions. It uses a novel combination of tools drawn from the emerging field of biodiversity informatics, quantitative geography, and artificial intelligence.

* pest management tool for use by individual grape growers * crop insurance risk management tool for use by crop insurance companies * investment management tool, for use by commodity traders and food companies * inventory management tool for use by agrochemical companies * marketing tool, also for use by agrochemical companies * Ag-Biotech R&D management tool for use by agricultural biotechnology companies * government resources allocation tool for use by applicable federal agencies in combating invasive species as well as bioterrorism

Detailed Description

The procedures represent a new process in predicting, analyzing, and strategizing for combat of species invasions. It uses a novel combination of tools drawn from the emerging field of biodiversity informatics, quantitative geography, and artificial intelligence. The procedures include computer programs, combined with analytical techniques that result in a new view of potential distribution of species.
