The procedures represent a new process in predicitng, analyzing, and strategizing for combat of species invasions. It uses a novel combination of tools drawn from the emerging field of biodiversity informatics, quantitative geography, and artificial intelligence.

It uses a novel combination of tools drawn from the emerging field of biodiversity informatics, quantitative geography, and artificial intelligence. The procedures include computer programs, combined with analytical techniques that result in a new view of potential distribution of species.
