Oncogene CoAA as a Diagnostic Marker for Human Cancers

Current State of the art: The present diagnostic methods for human cancer are with imaging, clinical blood work, and some forms of marker identification, i.e. BRCA1/2. Problems with the current art: The present set of diagnostic markers used in identifying cancers are limited and their presence may not always be conclusive of cancer without further tests such as imaging. Advantages of the novel invention: The novel invention identifies a new genetic loci that can be used as an additional diagnostic marker for the identification of human cancers.
