Relationship between CRP and AMD

C-reactive Protein and other elements have recently been associated with age-related macular degeneration. Various compounds (such as statins) that regulate CRP can thus be used to alter AMD progression. Certain elements can be developed as biomarkers to track progression of degeneration and/or disease arrestation.
