Mississippi State University
Established in 1878, Mississippi State University is a land-grant university located in Starkville, MS. With an enrollment of over 19,500 students and over 1,300 faculty, Mississippi State is the largest university in the State of Mississippi.
Mississippi State ranks 34th among all engineering colleges nationally in research and development expenditures and 5th in agricultural sciences research. The university’s entire research program stands at 58th among all public institutions of higher learning, with research expenditures totaling $206.2 million.
The mission of the Office of Technology Commercialization is to foster an entrepreneurial environment and identify, assess, protect, market, and license intellectual properties developed by Mississippi State University faculty, staff, and students.
