Detailed Description

The purpose of this research is to create and commercialize a behaviorally-based, empirically validated Scent Classification System that will be customized to the consumer’s specific scent preferences, personality traits (internal) and lifestyle characteristics (external). This Behavioral Scent Classification System is Phase 1 in a 3-phase project. As a result of Phase 1, Danielle and Company will become the first company in the beauty industry to produce a patent pending, behaviorally-based classification system validated by empirical research. This will enhance the validity, brand awareness, and integrity of Danielle and Company, and the innovative system will be integrated into their current product line, allowing for further product development. This system will revolutionize how consumers purchase scented beauty products, provide an individualized product selection experience that surpasses anything currently on the market, and instill consumer confidence in the Danielle and Company brand.
