This is a set of disaster behavioral health training materials for health and non-healthcare workers (Tech IDs: 6-1583-86).

Suggested Uses

The materials will be used to train behavioral health, spiritual care and other community helpers to respond to the needs of individuals impacted by disasters and public health emergencies. It can be utilized by state and local health and mental health agencies and other disaster response organizations to train their personnel.

Advantages

The materials provide trainees with the basic knowledge and skills in executing an appropriate response to a disaster as well as in instructing the workers for an effective mental health and training program to manage a disaster.
