Algorithm for Enhanced Resolution for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

University of Connecticut
posted on 05/16/2011

Prof. Hoch has developed an algorithm for the collection and processing of magnetic resonance signals by a random phase sampling method. This method increases the speed of data processing because fewer signal samples required, while the spectroscopic or image quality is maintained.

Suggested Uses

May be used with NMR spectrometer or MRI medical imaging.

Advantages

This algorithm may enhance the resolution and speed of experimental magnetic resonance spectroscopy for research or perhaps more importantly use of magnetic resonance for medical imaging applications.
