MRI table capable of physiological loading

UCSF investigators have developed an MRI table that allows MRI images of the joints and spine to be acquired with the patient lying supine in the MRI scanner, yet subject to physiological loading, which are more representative of physiological situations when human joints and structures are loaded by body weight.
