Monoclonal Antibody Hybridoma to Ovalbumin

Hybridoma   F2-3.58 (murine anti-OVA) Antigen Ovalbumin, the main protein found in chicken egg white. Antigen Background phosphoprotein constituent of egg white Antibody Class mouse IgG1 Species recognized chicken Demonstrated Uses � ELISA assay   Hybridoma Production: Three Balb/cj female mice were immunized intraperitoneally on day 0, 14, and 21 with 100 ug OVA in Complete or Incomplete Freund�s Adjuvant.  Splenocytes from one mouse were fused with SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells on approximately day 65.  Clones were screened on OVA-coated ELISA plates and positives subcloned by limiting dilution.  References: No publications.  This antibody was produced to serve as a positive control for use in the University of Chicago Frank W. Fitch Monoclonal Facility.
