UHN has developed the first functioning viewer available that allows a user to view DICOM-RT information without installing any additional software/ plug-ins on the client machine. It can operate within several popular web-browser environments allowing oncologists, physicists and researchers to evaluate and approve radiation treatment plans more efficiently from anywhere within a network. The viewer is capable of displaying DICOM images and DICOM RT objects such as structure sets, beams, dose objects and RT images. Several other plan analysis features are added to aid in plan evaluation.

The software is available in a market-ready commercial version with minor modifications required to suite a particular platform. A team is available to provide commercial-grade support for the platform. The viewer is available for non-exclusive world-wide licensing.
