Flow Admission Control for an Internet Router
University of Massachusetts, Amherst
posted on 07/28/2010
The next generation Internet 2 (I2) will have admission control protocols in order to support a new class of real-time network applications such as networked multi-media. These algorithms provide an efficient admission (of data packets) control component that can be used in both the next generation Internet routers and in Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) switches.
