Detailed Description

Vanderbilt researchers have uncovered a novel finding for the toxin from Group beta-hemolytic Streptococcus bacteria (GBS toxin). This group has shown that the GBS toxin may be used as vascular targeting agent to destroy pathological vasculature present in malignant tumors, atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and chronic wounds.
